I network via cavo e le piattaforme on-line dominano le nomination ai PGA Awards

La Producers Guild of America ha annunciato le nomination per le categorie televisive dei PGA Awards, giunti alla 27ma edizione, e i canali broadcast (quelli non via cavo) accusano un duro colpo: su dieci candidati tra Miglior Serie Drammatica e Miglior Serie Comica, figura un solo show di matrice broadcast, ovvero Modern Family della ABC; tutti gli altri provengono dalle reti via cavo o dalle piattaforme per lo streaming on-line.

Nessuna sopresa tra i candidati per la Miglior Serie Drammatica: House of Cards (Netflix), unico rappresentante dello streaming on-line, se la vedrà con quattro campioni della TV via cavo, Game of Thrones (HBO), Mad Men (AMC), Better Call Saul (AMC) e Homeland (Showtime). Sul fronte commedia, invece, l’unico esponente dello streming è Transparent di Amazon, mentre gli altri candidati sono Modern Family (ABC), Veep (HBO), Silicon Valley (HBO) e Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central).
