PGA Awards: The Brutalist, Dune 2 e September 5 tra i nominati

Dopo due rinvii causati dagli incendi che hanno colpito Los Angeles, la Producers Guild of America ha annunciato questa settimana le nomination dell’edizione 2025.

In concorso per il miglior film troviamo Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Emilia Perez, Wicked, Dune: Parte Due, A Real Pain, September 5 e The Substance. Assenti dalla lista Nickel Boys e Sing Sing.

Solo quattro film sono riusciti a ottenere delle nomination ai PGA, DGA e ai SAG, ovvero: Anora, A Complete Unknown, Conclave ed Emilia Perez.

I film animati sono invece: Flow, Inside Out 2, Oceania 2, Wallace e Gromit – Le piume della vendetta e Il robot selvaggio.

In campo televisivo, dominano le piattaforme. Nella categoria drammatica troviamo Apple TV+ con Bad Sisters e Slow Horses, Netflix con The Diplomat, Prime Video con Fallout e FX con Shōgun.
Nella categoria commedia HBO/Max con l’ultima stagione di Curb Your Enthusiasm e Hacks, ABC con Abbott Elementary, FX con The Bear e Hulu con Only Murders in the Building. A bocca asciutta serie popolari come Nobody Wants This, Man on the Inside, Mr. and Mrs. Smith e Presumed Innocent.

Tra le serie limitate: True Detective: Night Country e The Penguin di HBO, Baby Reindeer e Ripley di Netflix e Feud: Capote vs. the Swans di FX.

I premi speciali verranno consegnati a: Chris Meledandri (David O. Selznick Achievement Award), Dana Walden (Milestone Award), Taika Waititi (Norman Lear Achievement Award), Lynda Obst e Paula Weinstein (Trailblazer Award).

I vincitori saranno premiati alla cerimonia dei PGA Awards che si terrà l’8 febbraio, presso il Fairmont Century Plaza.
