Sono state annunciate le nomination per i SAG Awards 2024.
Gli Screen Actors Guild Awards, sono premi cinematografici e televisivi che celebrano le interpretazioni eccezionali degli attori sia nel cinema che nella televisione. Questi premi vengono assegnati dallo Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), il sindacato che rappresenta gli attori e altri professionisti dell’intrattenimento.
Si tratta di nomination che arrivano dopo un 2023 decisamente importante per la categoria, caratterizzato da uno sciopero che ha bloccato Hollywood per ben 118 giorni.
La 30° cerimonia annuale degli Screen Actors Guild Awards si terrà il 24 febbraio presso lo Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall di Los Angeles, California. Per la prima volta, la cerimonia sarà trasmessa in diretta streaming su Netflix. Nel corso della cerimonia Barbra Streisand riceverà il SAG Life Achievement Award 2023.
Barbie e Oppenheimer proseguiranno la loro “sfida” ai SAG Awards, entrambi i film hanno ottenuto quattro nomination. Per quanto riguarda le serie TV, Succession continua a primeggiare con cinque candidature.
