Oscar 2024: Io Capitano in cinquina, tutte le nomination

Zazie Beetz e Jack Quaid, dal Samuel Goldwyn Theater, hanno finito di annunciare le nomination della 96ª edizione degli Oscar®, la cui cerimonia di premiazione si terrà domenica 10 marzo 2024. La conduzione della serata sarà affidata per la quarta volta a Jimmy Kimmel.

Come in molti avevano già predetto, il film che ha ottenuto il maggior numero di nomination è Oppenheimer, ben tredici, tra cui miglior film, regista (Nolan) e attore (Cillian Murphy). Seguono Povere creature! di Yorgos Lanthimos con undici e con dieci Killers of the Flower Moon di Martin Scorsese.

Con otto Barbie di Greta Gerwig, assente nella categoria per la regia. America Ferrera ha ricevuto la nomination per miglior attrice non protagonista. Anatomia di una caduta (cinque) non è riuscita a entrare nella categoria per il miglior film internazionale, in compenso è nominato come miglior film. A pari merito anche La zona d’interesse di Jonathan Glazer.

Traguardi importanti

• Lily Gladstone diventa la prima nativa donna, di discendenza americana, a essere nominata nella categoria per la miglior attrice, se vinverà sarà mla prima a ottenere questo traguardo;
• Martin Scorsese sorpassa Steven Spielberg per il maggior numero di nomination come regista, 10 contro 9;
• Tre film diretti da delle donne, sono candidati per il miglior film. Il maggior numero di sempre;
• Grazie a Maestro, Spielberg ottiene la 13a nomination per il miglior film, e diventa il produttore con il maggior numero di nomination di sempre;
• Tre produttori in lizza per il miglior film, (Emma Stone, Margot Robbie, Bradley Cooper) sono stati nominati anche per la sceneggiatura. Solo una persona aveva ottenuto nel 2000 lo stesso onore, Frances McDormand per Nomadland;
• John Williams è la persona più nominata di sempre, ancora tra noi. Ha raggiunto la 54a nomination;
• Yamazaki (Godzilla Minus One) è il primo regista a essere riconosciuto nella categoria dei VFX dopo Stanley Kubrick che ricevette un Oscar per 2001 Odissea nello spazio.
