MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023: trionfano Scream VI e The Last of Us, tutti i vincitori

Sono stati annunciati i vincitori dell’edizione 2023 degli MTV Movie & TV Awards, che ha visto il trionfo di The Last of Us (Best Show, Best Hero a Pedro Pascal, e Best Duo a Pedro Pascal con Bella Ramsey) e Scream VI (Best Movie e Best Fight a Gale Weathers vs. Ghostface).

Jennifer Coolidge si è aggiudicata due premi, nello specifico Comedic Genius Award e Most Frightened Performance. Tra i vincitori anche Jenna Ortega, nella categoria Best Performance in a Show per la sua interpretazione in Mercoledì, e Tom Cruise, Best Performance in a Movie per il film campione d’incassi Top Gun: Maverick.

Lo sciopero degli sceneggiatori ha avuto le sue conseguenze anche su questa edizione degli MTV Movie & TV Awards. Per solidarietà nei confronti dei suoi colleghi, Drew Barrymore ha infatti deciso di non presentare più l’evento e molte altre star hanno deciso di non prendere parte alla manifestazione, questo ha spinto Paramount a rinunciare alla diretta, che è stata sostituita da una versione pre-registrata dello show.
