#ScreamVI is another solid entry in horror’s most consistent franchise. The scariest and darkest of the series thus far, the film takes a good amount of risks and adds some clever subversions that I did not see coming. pic.twitter.com/ECOOkEE5KG

All I’ll say for now is that you’d better secure your #ScreamVI opening weekend tickets now. I LOVED it and I’m still riding the high. Intense, thrilling, heartfelt, smart. I’m a happy, happy gal.

#ScreamVI is A DAMN GOOD TIME! In true sequel fashion, it’s BIGGER, BLOODIER and SCARIER. Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Courtney Cox all give awesome performances but Mason Gooding is the standout here. Watch out because #Ghostface isn’t playing any games. pic.twitter.com/d8AlnHVYKw

#ScreamVI keeps the long running franchise energized with BRUTAL gut splicing kills & TIGHT action. The twists keep you on edge & the BLOODY new faces are a welcome addition. Jenna Ortega & Jasmin Savoy are favourites. This is #Ghostface at their BEST! #Scream6 @ScreamMovies pic.twitter.com/e63BKtkDlt

#ScreamVI takes interesting and thrilling leaps from its predecessors. It has bigger chases, bloodier & gruesome deaths, plus a killer (!) opening sequence. Enjoyed seeing these characters again in a fun addition to the series that has plenty of easter eggs fans will admire. 🩸🔪 pic.twitter.com/XjVpCvmvge

#ScreamVI waves one mighty, red right hand. What a damn blast! It’s more about what’s going on in the characters’ heads than the sharp objects that enter it — delivering a refreshing entry with deep emotional nicks. Jenna Ortega is the film’s greatest weapon 🔪 pic.twitter.com/2c3StNPtkb

#ScreamVI — aka Ghostface Fakes Manhattan — is the best film since the original. The move to the Big Apple lead to the most audacious set pieces yet and it’s by far the most brutal of the series.

#ScreamVI is all killer, no filler, and brilliantly invests in both legacy and new characters. Stepping into New York City provides the ideal atmosphere for new and creative kills. Ghostface is deadlier than ever before. The Scream franchise is in excellent hands 🔪 pic.twitter.com/zkUlldYbTQ

Feeling very lucky to be a diehard #Scream fan. #ScreamVI is fantastic. So thankful this franchise fell into Radio Silence’s hands because they continue to crush it. Yes, the Ghostface attacks/killings are especially vicious – a few might be franchise highs in terms of tension. pic.twitter.com/f2RuYuq5OD

#ScreamVI owns the horror world now. It’s fresh, full of thrills, and manages to hit those emotional notes at every turn. Jenna Ortega is dynamite and the terror is at an all-time high. Scream for Scream VI.

#ScreamVI REVIEW: SHOCKING, VIOLENT & FUN. Jenna Ortega does it again! A WILD edging of your seat thriller that beats you off & creams your pants off. This isn’t just another slasher, it’s one the BEST horror films ever! WOW. A fitting end setting up what’s next #Scream #Scream6 pic.twitter.com/5U6Rt1fByF

New @ScreamMovies is a fucking blast!! So fun. So brutal. @jasminsavoy MVP. Can’t wait to see it again. #ScreamVI

SCREAM VI is a more brutal offering from Tyler Gillett & Matt Bettinelli-Olpin as the carnage moves to the open streets of New York City where no one is truly safe. A sick, twisted breakdown of legacies & franchises. I’m now as invested in the core four as the original trio. pic.twitter.com/PpHVPzHk1T
— Matt Neglia (@NextBestPicture) March 4, 2023
So, #Scream6 starts gory and stays gory (the kills — and there are a LOT of them — are all brutal). There’s a tension and grime that comes with the NY setting, and the “core four” make the series their own. Still plenty of legacy, without having to rely on nostalgia. Bloody good! pic.twitter.com/XqnabIaKis

I got to see #ScreamVI today and, while it’s hard to really talk about without any sort of spoilers, I’ll just say I really loved it. Consistently surprising and impressive, never sacrificing the Scream spirit. And easily the best opening scene since ‘96.

#SCREAMVI is a SHARPLY written and tactically directed thriller that TWISTS expectations with every turn. It’s a love letter to the #SCREAM franchise featuring a fantastic cast and heart-pounding suspense. Jenna Ortega SLAYS and Ghostface has never been more terrifying.
