Oscar 2021: I documentari e i film internazionali eleggibili

L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha annunciato ieri le pellicole eleggibili nelle categorie per il miglior documentario, film animato e film internazionale nell’edizione 2021. Alcuni dei film nelle categorie animato e documentario, non hanno ancora avuto l’uscita che gli permetterà di qualificarsi per la corsa agli Oscar.

Quest’anno l’Academy ha allentato le regole per l’ammissibilità per via della pandemia del Covid-19, qualsiasi film che ha potuto rivendicare un’uscita nelle sale è stato considerato idoneo, così come la vittoria di premi nei festival cinematografici.

La lista dei film in concorso nella categoria per il miglior film animato è esattamente quella che vi abbiamo rivelato la scorsa settimana.

Per l’edizione 2021 sono stati presentati 238 documentari, spezzando così il record del 2017 di 170 film.
