Joker, The Irishman, Dov’è il mio corpo, Parasite e Killing Eve nominati agli ACE Eddie Awards

L’American Cinema Editors ha annunciato le nomination della 70ma edizione degli ACE Eddie Awards. Undici categorie che riconoscono il lavoro dei migliori direttori del montaggio in televisione, al cinema e in campo documentaristico.

Ford v Ferrari, Joker, The Irishman, Storia di un matrimonio e Parasite competono nella categoria drammatica. Dolemite Is My Name, The Farewell, Jojo Rabbit, Knives Out e C’era una volta…a Hollywood in quella per dedicata alle commedie. Frozen 2, Dov’è il mio corpo e Toy Story 4 invece in quella animata.

L’ultima votazione si terrà dal 16 dicembre al 6 gennaio, la premiazione si terrà il 17 gennaio al Beverly Hilton Hotel. Il vincitore dell’anno scorso Bohemian Rhapsody, John Ottman, ha vinto poi l’Oscar nella categoria per il miglior montaggio.

Per la prima volta tre lungometraggi in lingua straniera sono stati nominati agli Eddie: in parte in mandarino The Farewell, il francese Dov’è il mio corpo e il coreano Parasite.

In campo televisivo: Killing Eve ha ottenuto due nomination grazie agli episodi Desperate Times e Smell Ya Later.
