Black Adam: a sorpresa, The Rock pubblica il poster e la data di uscita

The Man in Black ⚡️ Like most kids growing up, I dreamed about being a superhero. Having cool superpowers, fighting for what’s right and always protecting the people. It all changed for me, when I was 10yrs old and was first introduced to the greatest superhero of all time – SUPERMAN. As a kid, Superman was the hero I always wanted to be. But, a few years into my fantasy, I realized that Superman was the hero, I could never be. I was too rebellious. Too rambunctious. Too resistant to convention and authority. Despite my troubles, I was still a good kid with a good heart – I just liked to do things my way. Now, years later as a man, with the same DNA I had as a kid – my superhero dreams have come true. I’m honored to join the iconic #DCUniverse and it’s a true pleasure to become, BLACK ADAM. BLACK ADAM is blessed by magic with the powers equal to SUPERMAN, but the difference is he doesn’t toe the mark or walk the line. He’s a rebellious, one of a kind superhero, who’ll always do what’s right for the people – but he does it his way. Truth and justice – the BLACK ADAM way. This role is unlike any other I’ve ever played in my career and I’m grateful to the bone we’ll all go on this journey together. L’uomo in nero. Come molti ragazzi, crescendo sognavo di diventare un supereroe. Di avere grandi superpoteri, combattere per ciò che è giusto e proteggere sempre le persone. Tutto è cambiato, per me, quando a dieci anni ho conosciuto il piùgrande supereroe di tutti i tempi – SUPERMAN. Quando ero bambino, Superman era l’eroe che avrei voluto essere. Ma, dopo qualche anno, capii che Superman era l’eroe che non avrei mai potuto essere. Ero troppo ribelle. Troppo indisciplinato. Troppo contrario alle convenzioni e alle autorità. Nonostante i miei problemi, ero ugualmente un bravo ragazzino con un buon cuore – solo che amavo fare le cose a modo mio. Ora, anni dopo e da adulto, con lo stesso DNA che avevo da bambino, i miei sogni supereroici sono diventati realtà.

Sono onorato di entrare nell’iconico #DCUniverse ed è un vero piacere diventare BLACK ADAM. Grazie alla magia, BLACK ADAM ha ottenuto poteri al pari di Superman, la differenza è che non ha paura di oltrepassare i limiti. È un supereroe ribelle, unico nel suo genere, che farà sempre ciò che è giusto per le persone, ma a modo suo. Verità e giustizia alla maniera di BLACK ADAM. Questo ruolo è diverso da tutti quelli che ho interpretato nella mia carriera e sono grato nel profondo che faremo questo viaggio tutti insieme. BLACK ADAM, 22/12/21.

Era abbastanza inevitabile, con Dwayne Johnson nel ruolo, ma ora è confermato, dunque, che il Black Adam del film sarà ispirato alla nuova versione del personaggio dei fumetti. Negli ultimi anni, autori come Jerry Ordway, Geoff Johns e David S. Goyer lo hanno rielaborato, trasformandolo da supercattivo ad antieroe corrotto impegnato a ripulire il suo nome e la sua reputazione.

Black Adam, spin-off di Shazam!, sarà diretto dallo spagnolo Jaume Collet-Serra (Run All Night, Paradise Beach). Per ora non si hanno altre notizie sul cast, né su quando e come incontrerà lo Shazam di Zachary Levy. Ma state certi che succederà.
