Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 dal 2020 su Netflix in tutto il mondo, prima visual

Prima con Twitter e poi con un comunicato stampa sono state fornite le prime informazioni sulla nuova serie animata di Ghost in the Shell, intitolata Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, che verrà diretta da Kenji Kamiyama e Shinji Aramaki.

Annunciato nell’aprile del 2017 da Kodansha e Production I.G, il progetto basato sul manga Ghost in the Shell di Masamune Shirow sarà animato in 3DCG da Production I.G e Sola Digital Arts (Ultraman, Blade Runner Black Out 2022, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars).

Precedentemente Maki Terashima-Furuta, presidente di Production I.G. USA aveva dichiarato in un’intervista che l’anime avrebbe avuto due stagioni da 12 episodi con Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) alla regia di una e Aramaki (Appleseed) dell’altra.

Netflix ha confermato che si tratta di una serie animata e che Aramaki e Kamiyama lavoreranno insieme.

Production I.G ha animato Ghost in the Shell (1995), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2002), Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (2004), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – The Laughing Man (2005), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – Individual Eleven (2006), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society (2006), Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. Solid State Society 3D (2011), Ghost in the Shell: Arise (2013), Ghost in the Shell: Arise Alternative Architecture (2015), Ghost In The Shell: The New Movie (2015) e Ghost in the Shell VR Diver (2017).

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 verrà lanciato su Netflix nel 2020 in tutto il mondo, tranne in Cina.
