Quasi un terzo degli script (73) di quest’anno sono stati scritti da delle donne e più del 40% hanno per protagonisti delle donne e più di metà sono rappresentati da delle donne.
Al primo posto troviamo con 38 voti Frat Boy Genius di Elissa Karasik, che racconta la storia di Snapchat attraverso gli occhi di un fittizio impiegato scontento.
Secondo con 35 voti King Richard di Zach Baylin sul padre delle tenniste Venus e Serena Williams, con solo un voto di differenza a 34, troviamo Get Home Safe di Christy Hall, ambientato ad Halloween, su una giovane donna che deve tornare a casa da sola, con la batteria del cellulare scarica.
