Emmy 2017 – 13th di Ava DuVernay e Samurai Jack ottengono 4 vittorie

Si è conclusa la prima delle due serate di premiazione dell’edizione 2017 dei Creative Arts Emmy Awards, al Microsoft Theater. Il documentario diretto da Ava DuVernay, 13th ha vinto come miglior documentario, sceneggiatura, motion design e musica e testo originale per la canzone “The Letter to the Free” di Common, Robert Glasper e Karriem Riggins.
Quattro premi sono stati portati a casa anche dall’ultima stagione di Samurai Jack, per il contributo all’animazione di: Bryan Andrews, Storyboard Artist; Scott Wills, Production Designer; Craig Kellman, Character Designer e Lou Romano, Background Designer.
