César 2017 – Elle e Frantz ottengono 11 nomination a testa
Nonostante una serie di problemi tecnici che hanno messo in difficoltà il presidente dell’Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, Alain Terzian, questa mattina a Parigi sono state annunciate le nomination degli Oscar francesi che vedono al comando con undici candidature a testa, Elle di Paul Verhoeven e Frantz di Francois Ozon. Slack Bay di Bruno Dumont ha ottenuto 9 nomination, E’ solo la fine del mondo di Xavier Dolan 6.
Isabelle Huppert (Elle) e Marion Cotillard (Mal De Pierres) si contenderanno il premio per la miglior attrice, mentre François Cluzet (Médecin De Campagne) e Omar Sy (Chocolat) quello per il miglior attore.
Fuocoammare di Rosi ha ottenuto una nomination nella categoria per il miglior documentario mentre Lily-Rose Depp è stata nominata come miglior attrice emergente.
Terzian ha anche accennato alla polemica scoppiata in questi giorni in Francia riguardante il regista Roman Polanski, a cui era stata offerta la carica di presidente della cerimonia di quest’anno. Polanski ha rifiutato la posizione osteggiata dal gruppo femminista francese d’Osez.
“Ieri è stato un po’ complicato. [Polanski] è uno dei più grandi artisti del pianeta. Ha preso una decisione… rispetto tutti i commenti che sono stati fatti. Noi guardiamo gli artisti e il loro lavoro.”
Per il momento la posizione rimane ancora vacante.
