Addio a Bill Nunn, attore di Fa’ la cosa giusta e Spider-Man

L’attore americano Bill Nunn è scomparso ieri nella sua città natale, Pittsburgh, all’età di 62 anni. L’annuncio è stato dato dal regista Spike Lee, suo amico personale, attraverso il seguente post su Instagram:

Nato a Pittsburgh il 20 ottobre 1953, Bill Nunn si laureò al Morehouse College di Atlanta, in Georgia, e debuttò al cinema in Aule turbolente di Spike Lee (1988). La sua consacrazione avvenne l’anno successivo grazie al ruolo di Radio Raheem in Fa’ la cosa giusta, sempre di Spike Lee, con cui lavorò anche in Mo’ Better Blues (1990) e He Got Game (1998). Tra i numerosi film della sua carriera si ricordano anche A proposito di Henry, Sister Act, Extreme Meausures – Soluzioni estreme, La giuria e la trilogia di Spider-Man firmata da Sam Raimi, dove prestò il volto a Joseph “Robbie” Robertson, il caporedattore del Daily Bugle, personaggio storico dei fumetti Marvel.

Lee ha omaggiato l’amico anche con questa poesia di Lemon Andersen:
