Guardiani della Galassia: Vol. 2 – Steve Agee si aggiunge al cast?

Ci saranno tre nuovi membri della squadra in Guardiani della Galassia: Vol. 2

Le notizie sul casting di Guardiani della Galassia: Vol. 2 sono molto scarne e generalmente non ufficiali, e per il momento l’unico nome certo – tra i nuovi acquisti – è quello di Pom Klementieff, che dovrebbe interpretare Mantis. Ora, però, SlashFilm rivela che il sequel potrebbe contare anche su Steve Agee, attore comico noto soprattutto per The Sarah Silverman Program, ma anche per le sue partecipazioni a @midnight di Chris Hardwick.

Agee doveva presenziare al podcast di Doug Benson, Doug Loves Movies, ma è stato costretto a declinare l’invito: stando a Benson, l’attore doveva recarsi sul set di Guardiani della Galassia: Vol. 2 per le riprese. Non sappiamo nulla del suo ruolo, ma è molto probabile che questa indiscrezione – seppur non confermata – sia veritiera: Agee è molto amico del regista James Gunn, che infatti lo ha voluto anche nel suo prossimo film da sceneggiatore, l’horror The Belko Experiment.

Intanto, ecco una simpatica foto che riunisce tutti i guardiani (voci escluse) durante le prove: Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt e Dave Bautista compaiono insieme a James Gunn e a suo fratello Sean Gunn; quest’ultimo interpreta Kraglin Obfonteri, e inoltre fornisce i movimenti a Rocket Raccoon per il motion capture.

Feels good to be back in action on Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2!!! I can’t even tell you how excited I am. Ok I’ll try. I’m ecstatic. I’m bursting with joy. I’m overwhelmed by feelings of enthusiasm, joy, gratitude, conviviality, camaraderie, elation, exhilaration. I just used an online thesaurus for these words. I suggest trying that. That way instead of saying “I’m very excited” say, “I’m exhilarated.” Never too late to learn words. The pen is mightier than the sword. I never got that. I could whoop someone’s ass if I had a sword and they only had a pen. WAIT!!! Now I get it. Cause you could use a giant pen with a dagger on one end? And a gun on the other end? No? Whatever. Point is… Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. Is going to be the greatest spectacle film of all time. This is not…. bear with me… using online thesaurus….. Hyperbole! This is not hyperbole!

Guardiani della Galassia: Volume 2 uscirà il 5 maggio 2017. L’inizio delle riprese è previsto per il prossimo febbraio/marzo, ed è stata confermata la presenza di Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (Vin Diesel), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Yondu (Michael Rooker) e Nebula (Karen Gillan), mentre Pom Klementieff sarà Mantis. James Gunn torna nel ruolo di regista e sceneggiatore.
