Saturn Awards 2015 – Interstellar miglior film sci-fi, Guardiani miglior cinecomic, regia e attore a Pratt

L’Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films ha annunciato i vincitori della 41ma edizione dei Saturn Awards che ha visto Interstellar vincitore di ben sei statuette: miglior film fantascientifico, miglior performance di un giovane attore (Mackenzie Foy), miglior sceneggiatura (Christopher Nolan e Jonathan Nolan), miglior production design (Nathan Crowley), miglior musica (Hans Zimmer) e migliori effetti speciali (Paul Franklin, Andrew Lockley, Ian Hunter, Scott Fisher).

Durante la premiazione Jonathan Nolan ha dichiarato:

“Insterstellar è la storia di un uomo che percorre un arduo viaggio, torna ndietro 100 anni dopo e scopre che nessuno si ricorda di lui o gli interessa quello che stava facendo. E’ una bella metafora da scrivere in un film prodotto da uno studio”.

Il film che aveva ricevuto più nomination, Captain America: The Winter Soldier è rimasto a bocca asciutta in compenso Guardiani della Galassia ha portato a casa il premio per il miglio cinecomic, miglior attore (Chris Pratt), regia (James Gunn) e trucco (David White, Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou). Gunn ha letto un messaggio di Pratt mentre ha ritirato il premio per l’interprete di Star-Lord.

“James Gunn è il futuro, è un genio. Ho cercato ogni giorno di fare una cosa: dare me stesso alla visione creativa di un uomo che è lì ad accettare questo premio a nome mio. Sarà sempre il mio fidato leader e amico… e signore, è single. Giusto? Lo sei? Non abbiamo parlato per un paio di settimane. Non importa, è single stasera. Mi piacerebbe aprire l’asta a 1.000 dollari per James. Ah ah, sta arrossendo? James, chiedi al pubblico se sei rosso”.

Hannibal, da poco cancellato, ha vinto tre premi: il miglior show in onda su un network, miglior attore (Hugh Dancy) vinto a pari merito con Andrew Lincoln e miglior attore non protagonista (Laurence Fishburne).

Meritatamente The Flash ha vinto come miglior serie tratta da un fumetto, e a Wentworth Miller è andato il premio di miglior guest actor. Al protagonista Grant Gustin è stato inoltre dato il The Breakthrough Performance Award.

Durante le foto di rito l’attore ha rivelato che all’inizio della seconda stagione riveleranno quasi subito il nuovo cattivo, inoltre farà parte dello spin-off Legends of Tomorrow.
