Critics’ Choice Television Awards, Silicon Valley e The Americans sono le miglior serie televisive del 2015

La quinta edizione dei Critics’ Choice Television Awards non ha incoronato un vincitore assoluto in termini di show. Olive Kitteridge ha vinto come miglior miniserie, miglior attrice (Frances McDormand) e attore non protagonista (Bill Murray).
Tre show si sono portati a casa due premi: Better Call Saul (miglior attore in una serie drammatica Bob Odenkirk, miglior attore non protagonista Jonathan Banks), Silicon Valley (miglior serie comica, miglior attore non protagonista T.J. Miller) e Transparent (miglior attore in una serie comica Jeffrey Tambor, miglior guest star Bradley Whitford).
Il premio per la miglior serie drammatica è andato a The Americans della FX.

La HBO si è portata a casa 7 premi, la FX 4, mentre Amazon, AMC, Comedy Central e Fox solo due ciascuno. Durante la serata sono stati premiati anche Taraji P. Henson (miglior attrice in Empire) e Amy Schumer (miglior attrice serie comica in Inside Amy Schumer).

Seth MacFarlane ha ricevuto il Louis XIII Genius Award, e non ha risparmiato nessuno nel suo discorso di ringraziamento.
