La Broadcast Film Critics Association ha diffuso i nomi delle pellicole candidate alla 19° edizione dei Critics’ Choice Awards.
Si tratta di utilissimo indicatore che ci conferma o meno le pellicole favorite verso la corsa agli Oscar, soprattutto per quanto riguarda le categorie principali. Lo scorso anno 9 pellicole su 10 candidate a Miglior Film rientrarono nella rosa dell’Academy e il vincitore Argo fece doppietta. Per quanto riguarda gli attori Daniel Day Lewis e Anne Hathaway vinsero poi l’Oscar, così come Tarantino, Claudio Miranda e molti altri vincitori del Critics’.
Quest’anno sono 12 Anni Schiavo di Steve McQueen e American Hustle di David O’Russell (13 nomination) a dominare, insieme a Gravity di Alfonso Cuaron (10). Bene anche Captain Phillips di Paul Greengrass (7), Dallas Buyers Club (3) ma anche Saving Mr. Banks, The Wolf Of Wall Street ed Her di Spike Jonze (6 candidature a testa).
