In attesa della cerimonia dei premi per eccellenza – gli Oscar ça vas sans dire (la cui serata di premiazione si terrà nella notte di domenica 24 febbraio) – ecco arrivare le ultime assegnazioni della stagione dei premi. Ieri sera sono stati infatti consegnati i premi della Writers Guild of America meglio conosciuti come WGA Awards che vede gli stessi sceneggiatori appartenenti al sindacato a premiare le migliori sceneggiature dell’anno in ambito cinematografico e televisivo. Per quel che riguarda il settore filmico, ad aggiudicarsi i principali premi sono stati Mark Boal per la miglior sceneggiatura originale con Zero Dark Thirty (il controverso film sull’uccisione di Bin Laden diretta dalla regista Premio Oscar Kathryn Bigelow) e poi Chris Terrio per il miglior adattamento con Argo (il thriller spionistico diretto e interpretato da Ben Affleck). Sotto trovate la lista completa dei premi. Per quel che riguarda il piccolo schermo i principali riconoscimenti sono invece andati a Breaking Bad, Louie e Girls.
Lo scorso anno vinsero il WGA Paradiso Amaro di Alexander Payne e Woody Allen con Midnight in Paris, premiati anche agli Oscar, mentre l’anno precedente ci fu uno split, con The Social Network vincitore anche della statuetta e Inception superato agli Oscar da Il Discorso del Re.
