Jason Momoa, meglio conosciuto come l’interprete di Khal Drogo nella prima stagione di Game of Thrones, ma anche l’attore che ha interpretato il nuovo Conan il barbaro nel reboot della Lionsgate, questo mercoledì è volato fino a Londra per fare uno screen test per il personaggio di Drax il distruttore, uno dei compagni di squadra di Star Lord (Chris Pratt) nel film Marvel, The Guardians of the Galaxy.
Precedentemente era stato riportato che Isiah Mustafa, Dave Bautista e Brian Patrick erano stati testati per il ruolo, ma secondo le fonti di Latino Review, la prova di Momoa è andata così bene che la Marvel gli ha offerto la parte. I rappresentati dell’attore hanno controbattuto e le negoziazioni sono al momento in corso.
Ma secondo Borys Kit di THR, la Marvel non ha ancora fatto nessuna offerta a Momoa.

This doesn’t mean Momoa won’t be their guy. It just means Marvel still hasn’t chosen their Drax.

Elmayimbe di LT ha aggiunto su twitter che Momoa ha chiesto il doppio dei soldi che la Marvel gli ha offerto, dato che è stato l’unico attore a volare fino a Londra per fare il screen test.

Quanto sarà disposta a sborsare la Marvel, per ottenere Momoa? Lo studio potrebbe scegliere al suo posto un altro attore per spendere meno soldi? Lo scopriremo a breve, visto Momoa che dovrebbe tornare oggi a Londra.
