Lo Squalo di Steven Spielberg ad agosto in Blu-Ray rimasterizzato in digitale!

La Universal Pictures festeggia quest’anno i 100 anni dalla sua fondazione e vi abbiamo svelato già ad inizio anno tutte le iniziative in programma. Tra queste anche il restauro di 13 capolavori della propria libreria, tutti grandi successi anche di pubblico entrati di diritto nell’immaginario collettivo e molti di loro vincitori dell’Oscar come Miglior Film.

Tra questi c’è anche Lo Squalo, il film rivelazione di Steven Spielberg che incassò solamente negli Stati Uniti oltre 260 milioni di dollari nel 1975, una cifra corrispondente ad un miliardo di dollari attuali. Nominato a quattro Oscar, tra cui Miglior Film, ne vinse tre: colonna sonora, suono e montaggio.

La Universal ha confermato la rimasterizzaione digitale e ufficializzato l’uscita del film in Blu-ray per il 14 agosto (attualmente sul mercato americano, ma vi aggiorneremo sulla data di uscita italiana).

Tra i contenuti speciali (oltre 4 ore di extra!) ci sarà anche il documentario The Shark Is Still Working: The Impact and Legacy of JAWS, uno special da 2 ore The Making of JAWS, scene cancellate, storyboards, foto di produzione e molto altro ancora. Ecco l’elenco completo:
