ACE Eddie Awards 2016 – Nominati Mad Max: Fury Road, Anomalisa e Il Risveglio della Forza

Le nomination per la 66ma edizione degli ACE (American Cinema Editors) Eddie Awards, la società onoraria dei direttori del montaggio che non deve essere confusa con la MPEG (Motion Picture Editors Guild), il sindacato che rappresenta i montatori degli Stati Uniti, sono state annunciate.

Nelle varie sezioni – drammatica, commedia, animazione e documentario – vediamo Margaret Sixel per Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Hank Corwin (La grande scommessa), Stephen Mirrione (The Revenant), Joe Walker (Sicario) e Pietro Scalia (The Martian), gli editor nominati/vincitori negli scorsi mesi (Critics Choice Awards, San Francisco Film Critics, Chicago Film Critics…).

Il frontrunner della categoria drammatica, è la Sixel, mentre in quella della commedia è Corwin. Per la categoria animazione e montaggio difficile dirlo, penso che se la giocheranno nel primo caso Anomalisa e Inside Out, mentre nel secondo Going Clear e Amy.

In campo televisivo Game of Thrones e Better Call Saul ottengono 2 nomination ciascuno.
