Lo Hobbit conduce con nove nomination la 39a edizione dei Saturn Awards

L’Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films ha rivelato le nomination dei film che si giocheranno questo giugno la vittoria alla 39a edizione dei Saturn Awards. Al primo posto con nove nomination troviamo Lo Hobbit: Un viaggio inaspettato seguito con otto candidature da Vita di Pi e con 7 da Skyfall, il 23esimo film di James Bond. Dopo il podio troviamo due cinecomic, The Avengers e Il cavaliere oscuro – Il Ritorno, che hanno conquistato sei nomination come Les Miserables, il musical di Tom Hooper.

Il premio per il miglior film di fantascienza se lo contenderanno The Avengers, Chronicle, Cloud Atlas, Hunger Games, Looper e Prometheus. La categoria per il miglior film fantastico se la contenderanno The Amazing Spider-Man, Lo Hobbit, Vita di Pi, Biancaneve e il cacciatore, Ted e Ruby Sparks. Leggendo quella per il miglior film horror/thriller, che se la contenderanno Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, The Impossible, La casa nel bosco, The woman in black e 7 psicopatici, non possiamo fare a meno di domandarci dove siano finiti i film horror! Sapevamo che il genere sta affrontando delle difficoltà, ma…

Infine nella categoria per il miglior film d’azione/avventura troviamo The Bourne Legacy, Il cavaliere oscuro – Il Ritorno, Django Unchained, Skyfall, Taken: La vendetta e Les Miserables?! Un film che ci sta perfettamente in questa categoria, no? Il premio per la miglior regia vedrà invece la lotta tra Peter Jackson (Hobbit), Christopher Nolan (Batman), Joss Whedon (Avengers), Rian Johnson (Looper), William Friedkin (Killer Joe) e Ang Lee (Vita di Pi). Mai come quest’anno le nomination hanno offerto una lista così varia e inusuale.

Nel campo televisivo invece Fringe è lo show che ha ottenuto più nomination, sei, seguono con cinque Dexter, e con quatto: Breaking Bad (AMC), Falling Skies (TNT), Leverage (TNT), Revolution (NBC), e The Walking Dead (AMC). Da notare che The Following ha già ottenuto la sua prima nomination, nonostante lo show sia da poco iniziato.
