Sono state annunciate poco fa le nomination per la 40esima degli Annie Award, gli Oscar dell’Animazione. I premi sono conferiti dai membri della ASIFA-Hollywood, la sezione di Hollywood della Association Internationale du Film d’Animationche quest’anno saranno consegnati il 2 febbraio a Los Angeles.

I cartoon nominati come Miglior Film (premio che lo scorso anno andò a Rango di Gore Verbinski, poi premiato anche con l’Oscar) sono Ribelle, Le 5 Leggende Ralph Spaccatutto (10 candidature ciascuno!),Frankenweenie di Tim Burton, Hotel Transylvania, Paranorman, Pirati! Briganti da Strapazzo, The Rabbi’s Cat. Le assenze di maggior rilievo sono Madagascar 3 e L’Era Glaciale.
